Pastor Hank was appointed to the position of Associate Pastor by Mrs. Madden three months before she passed away. She said the Lord told her to appoint him, it was a position he did not feel qualified to fill so he therefore "pulled a Jonah" and went another way. It didn't work for Jonah, nor did it work for Pastor Hank. After an "in the belly of a whale experience" he said, "I am ready to obey the Lord." He has been faithful to carry out the pastoral duties continually ever since, for which we are grateful.
Come and hear him for yourself. We think you will be blessed to hear the Word of the Lord that will be shared.
Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem (Luke 24:45-47).
Pastor Hank met his wife, Peggy, in Florida shortly after returning from the war in Vietnam.
They were married in 1972 and six years later, in answer to Pastor Hank's prayer, their first daughter, Rebecca, was born. Two and a half years later their second daughter, Rachel, was born; both precious gifts from their Heavenly Father.
They also have three delightful grandsons, Justin, Joseph and Joshua.
The LORD shall increase you more and more; you and your children (Psalms 115:14).
